Elizabeth (Liz) joined the KDHRC team eager to learn about and contribute to public health research.
Liz graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a dual Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Justice Studies (and a minor in Forensics). After graduation, Liz worked at Boston Children’s Hospital as a Clinical Research Assistant within a psychiatric genetics lab focused on early onset psychosis and mood disorder research. In this role, she received training in clinical diagnostic assessment, recruitment strategies, IRB, proposal writing, data management, and project coordination. Liz is excited to apply and expand upon these skills at KDHRC where each day brings a fresh chance to tackle new challenges.
When she logs off from work, you can find Liz reading the latest book on her TBR, binging another show (such as her current obsession ‘The Blacklist’ or the classic ‘Criminal Minds’), trying new recipes, traveling to explore new places, or spending time with family and friends.
