Audrey graduated from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI, with a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education and a minor in Clinical Laboratory Science. Following graduation, she began her career by volunteering at a Marquette health & wellness nonprofit, where she served as a grant writer and event planner. Her dedication led to a position on the Board of Directors.

Following this advancement, Audrey worked as a Project Manager and Lead CHW Trainer at NMU’s Center for Rural Health. In her role, she managed a grant-funded program that introduced Community Health Worker (CHW) training across the Upper Peninsula. Audrey not only managed the program but also served as an instructor, utilizing established curricula and designing supplementary activities.

Audrey has worked on several rural health initiatives in the Upper Peninsula and has experience collaborating with diverse populations to address critical health and social issues. Her career trajectory has equipped her with skills in project management, technical writing, and curriculum development. Audrey’s proficiency in developing effective health programs and her commitment to advancing public health drew her to KDHRC, where she is excited to support public health research.

In her free time Audrey enjoys spending time outside, creating art, and reading.
