NACDD Showcase 2020

KDHRC started the year off strong at the 4th annual National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) Showcase 2020, which took place in Atlanta, GA.

This year’s Showcase theme was “Elevating Public Health to Social Health – Establishing Multisectoral Partnerships to Impact the Root Causes of Chronic Disease.” We had the pleasure of meeting health experts and professionals dedicated to public health research and viewed over 60 posters that summarized NACDD’s portfolio of projects.

During the introductory Fireside Chat we heard from leading experts with diverse public health backgrounds about the importance of uniting resources across multiple health sectors to fight against root causes of chronic disease.
