KDHRC receives Cochlear Implant University Phase 2 funding from NIH
KDHRC is proud to announce their award of SBIR Phase II funding to continue the development and evaluation of Cochlear Implant University (CIU). This program is designed to increase self-efficacy and advocacy skills in teens with cochlear implants as they transition from high school to college. KDHRC will be partnering with AG Bell to complete this project. This grant comes from NIH’s National Institute of Deafness and Other Communication Disorders. CIU is expected to be complete in Summer 2020. To access the CIU prototype, visit: www.cochlearimplantunivserity.com.
