KDHRC exhibits at the 3rd Annual CHW Networking Summit

KDHRC Highlights from the Southeast CHW Networking Summit

KDHRC participated in the third Annual Southeast Community Health Worker (CHW) Networking Summit, a two-day event held in midtown Atlanta. This gathering brought together CHWs and allies from 11 states, including Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and beyond, to exchange ideas and gain valuable resources to enhance their outreach efforts through presentations and workshops.

KDHRC Program Manager Dexter Cooper connected with CHW leaders, shared information about our CHW courses and Virtual Academy. As one of the summit vendor tables, KDHRC engaged with both familiar partners and new potential collaborators, strengthening our commitment to supporting CHWs in their vital work.

And, of course, Earl the Squirrel, KDHRC’s trusted yet nutty mascot, was on hand, eager to help spread the word about everything KDHRC has to offer!

We look forward to continuing these important conversations and expanding our CHW initiatives in the future. Visit our programs page here to explore resources we’ve developed for CHWs, such as GRIN, which focuses on oral health outreach to African American parents of children and adolescents, and Puentes, which supports outreach to Latino parents of children with special needs.
