KDHRC receives Puentes Fast Track Funding from NIH

KDHRC is proud to announce a FastTrack award for an NIH SBIR grant. To complete Puentes, we will develop, implement, and rigorously evaluate a culturally competent, online professional development course to prepare promotores, trusted community members familiar with their communities’ needs and resources, to conduct outreach to low-income Latino parents of children with special health care needs (CSHCN). Promotores-based interventions reduce health disparities and improve health outcomes in cost-effective ways.
